Irfan Khan & Divya Dutta Lengthy Kiss

Irrfan Khan and Divya Dutta have shot for one of the boldest and longest love-making scene in Jennifer Lynch’s Hiss. The scene has a long passionate lip-lock between the two actors.

Our source from the unit says, “Irrfan and Divya had to shoot for a scene which required them to be lip-locked for a long time. The scene was shot in Kerala sometime ago. Initially both Irrfan and Divya had reservations about shooting the scene as it was very long and passionate, and had to be shot in front of the entire unit. The director Jennifer Lynch instructed them to remain in that position and not to break the lip-lock until she asked them to do so.”

We called Divya Dutta, who confirmed the news but did not wish to give any details. However, Irrfan Khan was more forthcoming, he said, “Yes, we do have a very lengthy and passionate kiss, but it was the requirement of the script. In the film we both go through some crisis and the love-making scene happens after that.”

When asked if the scene was shot in front of the entire unit, he said, “Yes we had to shoot the passionate love-making scene in front of the entire unit, it was very embarrassing. We were not allowed to take a break.”

Pierce Brosnan with Amitabh Bachchan in Teen Patti!

You had your eyes wide open when you saw Denise Richards romancing our Bollywood action hero Akshay Kumar in Kambakht Ishq. You had your jaw drop when you saw Sylvester Stallone having a laugh with our size zero girl Kareena Kapoor on the sets of the same film. It’s the West meets the East season.

But wait…there’s something more which is going to get you blackjacked!

Joining the ongoing list of biggies is an Irish born Hollywood actor who swept the entire world by his suave acting skills. Following a stage acting career, he rose to popularity in the television series Remington Steele, after which, there was no looking back and what followed were blockbuster films like Mrs. Doubtfire, Golden Eye, Tommorrow Never Dires, Die Another Day, The Thomas Crown Affair and The Tailor of Panama to name a few.

Ladies and gentlemen, the newest name to join the elite list of Hollywood actors in a Bollywood film is Pierce Brosnan in Leena Yadav Bajaj’s Teen Patti!

The high-stake gambling film with a cause which is headed by Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgan, R Madhavan, Raima Sen and many others is due to release this year.

The film is said to have been inspired from a true story of MIT students who mastered the are of card counting and took Las Vegas casinos for millions in winnings.

In fact, Hollywood made its own version of the film last year, the Kevin Spacey starrer 21.

We’ve learned from our media sources that Mr. Brosnan’s scenes were entirely shot in Oxford, U.K. and the film kick starts with him in a sitting cameo. Whether or not he will be sharing screen space with Big B or Ajay Devgan will only come to light when the film releases.

That’s not all.

We’ve also come to know that Jon Harris - who edited Guy Ritchie film Snatch - has also been roped in to edit Teen Patti.

Looks like, it’s all going to be a clean cut for director Leena Yadav Bajaj who is all set to win hands down by roping in Pierce Brosnan and Jon Harris. The question remains - Are they worth the gamble?

Stay tuned in!

Malaika Arora : “I Lost My Temper & I’m Not Ashamed Of It.”

malaika.jpg

On the grand finale of reality dance show Zara Nachke Dikha. Malaika Arora was shocked by television actor Bhaktyaar Irani’s behaviour and says he had an “attitude problem from day one”. The male contestants led by Bhaktyaar staged an en masse walkout at the grand finale of STAR One’s show last week after they realised they were losing.

The show pitted eight female celebrities against an equal number of guys. While the girls’ team had Swini Khara, Narayani Shastri, Jennifer Winget, Delnaz Paul, Karishma Tanna, Maninee De, Mouni Roy and Rupali Ganguli, the boys team consisted of Amey Pandya, Chaitanya Chowdhary, Amit Tandon, Ali Asgar, Bhaktyaar Irani, Gaurav Chopra, Manish Goel and Vikas Sethi.

“Bhaktyaar definitely has a huge chip on his shoulder. I’ve been on other reality shows, in fact Zara Nach Ke Dikha was my fourth. But never have I encountered such bad behaviour,” Malaika, who earlier judged Nach Baliye for the channel, said.

This is the first time the Chaiya chaiya girl lost her cool as a judge.

“I lost my temper and I’m not ashamed of it. The guys really behaved badly, especially Bhaktyaar, who I noticed had an attitude problem from day one. He’s a good dancer, but he can’t take defeat.

“Since the show was formatted as a men vs women thing it was only natural that either the boys or the girls would win. But Bhaktyaar and the other boys just spoilt three months of the time we all spent together as a family on the show.”
Malaika judged Zara Nachke Dikha along with actor Chunkey Pandey.

“Can you believe what sore losers men can be?”

Malaika is still shocked days after the event.

“I’ve always maintained the male ego is the worst thing in the world. There’s no way we women can deal with it. But to come on a reality show, promising to be fair and sporting, then to walk out saying the judges didn’t know their jobs was honestly a bit too much to take. I was aghast.”

What appalled Malaika even more was the fact that Bhaktyaar actually lashed out at guest judge Saroj Khan on television.

“I couldn’t believe what I heard when I saw Bhaktyaar lashing out at Sarojji. Come on, she’s a veteran, a legend in her field. Bhaktyaar really needs to put his ego to rest before going to another reality show.”

The grand finale was not the only time Malaika had a problem with Bhaktyaar.

“Once earlier I had intervened on behalf of my colleague Chunky Pandey. I wish the boys on Zara Nachke Dikha had displayed more grace and chivalry. They proved Indian men treat women as the weaker sex. Luckily, I’ve a husband (Arbaz Khan) who treats me as an equal. But who knows how my son will turn out!”

The experience has left a bitter taste in Malaika’s mouth. And she may not do another reality show for a while.

“In any case, I like to take a biggish break between two shows,” she said.

The Bachchans get together for Delhi-6

Bachchans
It may sound weird but it's true that the Bachchan family revolves around films. They don't find time for each other because of their film commitments, and in the meantime, it is films that bring them together. For instance, the Bachchans – Amitabh, Jaya, Abhishek and Aishwarya were held up at different places till lately. However, they all are set to come to Delhi for the premiere of Delhi-6, in which Abhishek plays the lead role along with Sonam Kapoor.

“I prepare to leave for Delhi for Delhi 6 ! Abhishek has just landed from Dubai into Delhi, after the premier in Dubai. Aishwarya shooting on the outskirts of Kolkata will come in by the evening to Delhi and Jaya is already there because of Parliament. It is these strange travel combinations that bring us together nowadays,” wrote Amitabh Bachchan on his blog bigb.bigadda.com.

The superstar revealed that staying away from each other is not something they can avoid. “It is distracting to be away. But not something that can be avoided. Soon I would believe, we would all have to just put our foot down, take a break and go off somewhere to just be together,” he said.

Well, the Bachchans have come together to support another Bachchan – Abhishek, whose film Delhi-6 is releasing today!
